Sam Waterfall is an accomplished global marketing consultant and a regular face on the international speaker circuit.
From leading global branding and innovation projects for major multinational companies to delivering acclaimed talks and conference speeches Sam is equally at home presenting to an audience of eminent marketers in South East Asia as he is consulting with European business leaders.
As Senior Partner at the London-based boutique branding consultancy, The Healthy Marketing Team, Sam works globally alongside fellow industry thought leaders, Peter Wennström and Neal Cavalier-Smith.
Sam has designed and led multimillion pound generating innovation and marketing projects for companies including cosmetics giant L’Oreal and led brand consultancy and consumer research projects for many of the world’s leading food, beverage, ingredients and packaging manufacturers.
In demand as a speaker, Sam delivered the opening keynote address at the prestigious 8th World Food Technology & Innovation Forum in Rotterdam. He has recently delivered keynote addresses and branding workshops in Saigon, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, New Delhi, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Mainz, Frankfurt, Cologne, London, Moscow, Geneva, Dubai, Riyadh, Cairo, Ghent, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Barcelona.
Always an enthusiastic traveller, Sam has worked in over 25 countries a feat which when combined with his passion for understanding the consumer makes him a marketer or profound sensitivity and insight. In recent years, Sam’s marketing projects have led him to develop an expertise in the emerging markets with experience in Russia, India, China, South East Asia and across the Middle East.
Sam began his career working in the USA before joining Procter & Gamble in the UK. He has held Global Brand Management, Buying and Business to Business Marketing positions with Boots the Chemist and Kraft Foods. He holds a degree in Financial and Business Economics from Newcastle Business School and a Masters in Entrepreneurship from Durham Business School.
Sam competed in the 140.2 mile Ironman UK Triathlon in 2009 and has 3 times completed the London marathon.
